By working to decrease fire risk and severity on our lands through proactive management of excessive brush and woody debris, we can also create further habitat enhancement opportunities to restore diverse native flowering plants and grasses to the successional cycles of our immediate environments; providing not only for our own enjoyment, but also diversity of resources for native fauna, improved water infiltration, and competition against recolonization by woody or invasive species.
